Well, google ruined youtube... again.
Sign this petition or i will eat you.
Basically, youtube made it so that comments are pretty much destroyed for anyone without a google+ account. and when i say that i mean you can't even MAKE comments. Google is either evil or high.
Also, listen to me rant about it.

If you dwell on what was, you'll be blind as to what is. But you can always learn from what was to make what is better.

nero. . . you understand that google is a private company, and in that respect they dont have a monopoly on video sites, you arent forced to use youtube, you can go elsewhere, therefore arent required to make a g+ account, only if you want to use their services, which you most likely agreed to in their TOS

Google owns 2 of the top 4 viewed websites in the world. They don't give a shit.

Although I believe google listens to their customers more then other companies do. But usually only if it affects them negatively. But since YouTube is huge and nothing else compares to it in traffic, or even comes close (besides porn sites), I doubt they give a shit.

It's been forever since I logged in. But I visited the forum and seen this and just had to make a comment.

I agree, the fact you need to use your name to make a comment on anything, including reviews on the Android market is just ridiculous. Did Google get drunk on cheap whiskey and just throw darts at ideas? Maybe.

I highly doubt they will ever change it back, Google is all about "moving forward" even if that means making some people unhappy, which their willing to risk. As long as a lot of people make the change nothing will change it back, not even a petition.

If Google does change it back I will be highly surprised.

That being said; you can either use another website to watch videos or just not make comments at all.
Welcome back Darklight.
Also, when i posted the link it had about 7,500 Signatures, Now it has over 100,000. AND It's been shown on CNN and LA Times. Not to mention, the co-founder of youtube came on after 8 years of inactivity to say "Why the F%$& do i need a Google+ account to comment".
